Local Elections 2021

The Government has confirmed that Local Elections will take place on Thursday 6th May 2021.

For residents of Acomb Parish we will be asked to vote for one seat on the Hexham Central with Acomb local authority, and for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Northumbria Police.

If enough residents express an interest in becoming Councillors for Acomb Parish, there are 7 available seats. At least 10 people are required to apply as candidates to initiate an electoral vote for these Parish Council positions.

If you are not using postal voting, arrangements for voting in person will be carried out in a Covid secure manner. Further details to follow in due course.
